Marine Dimensions Wildlife Workshops
Let our marine biologists bring our underwater world into your world! Did you know that a jellyfish doesn’t have a brain? Or that shark eggcases can be found on Ireland’s beaches? Join one of our fascinating workshops to find out more about the incredible marine wildlife that we have right on our doorstep! Discover and explore Ireland’s coastline this summer with our dedicated team of biologists who are passionate about marine life. Marine Dimensions is a non profit organisation that is dedicated to raising awareness and enjoyment of the marine and coastal environment. This summer we are running a wide range of workshops, including seashore safaris, family beach events and a marine biology summer school with camps for kids and camps for teens. We also run conservation projects, giving you a chance to get involved and make a real difference for the environment. Download our summer programme of events here
Pricing and logistics Summer workshops for families include the Sandycove Seashore Explorer, Portmarnock Seashore Explorer and Bray Coastal Wildlife Walk. Ages: Varies according to workshop. Sandycove Seashore Explorer: 8+yrs. Portmarnock Seashore Explorer: all ages. Bray Head Coastal Wildlife Walk: 8+yrs. Location: Dublin, Wicklow Price: €18 per adult, €10 per child, €45 per family (2 adults and 2 children). Workshop start times vary. Booking required. Office hours: 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
