Jill managed projects for British Gas, Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays Bank, AIB. Originally from Scotland, she arrived in Galway in 2002 with a young child and did the Executive MBA at NUI Galway before working part-time until she plucked up the courage to launch Mykidstime with Michelle. Jill now has a second daughter.
Meet the Mykidstime Team
The website was created by Jill Holtz and Michelle Davitt, both of whom are mothers of young children. Frustrated by the lack of a central information resource on children’s activities and services in the Galway area, Jill and Michelle decided to create this resource themselves, and launched mykidstime.ie in 2007.

Linda
Mykidstime Meath/Louth
After gaining a BA in Media Studies from the University of Ulster and an MA in Journalism from Dublin City University, Linda Higgins embarked on a 15 year-career as a features and news writer with the Evening Herald and the Irish Independent. Two small boys later and it increasingly became a frantic juggle between the demands of a busy newsroom and the equally pressing needs of young children… The kids won that particular tug of war! The commute to Dublin was time-consuming and incompatible with family life, so Linda was delighted to come across My Kids Time and realise that working from home was a feasible option after all. In addition to bringing My Kids Time to Meath, Linda also volunteers in what little spare time she has left and is currently the Public Relations Officer for both Kells Chamber of Commerce and the Kells Pink Ribbon Walk (in aid of Action Breast Cancer). She also helps to coach the under-sevens team at Kells Blackwater Soccer Club. |

Maeve is looking forward to keeping parents up to date with local events and activities and is delighted to be part of the Mykidstime Team. |
